We are East Staffordshire's first micropub and we opened in October 2013 in what was a former sweet shop. Inside we are small and cosy. Our micropub has just one single room on the ground floor of a Victorian terrace. Our furniture is typically micropub style with pine benches and tables and one of our walls is decorated with an aphorism, a mural, and a table of 'ale measures'. You can take a peek through the window at the back of the pub into our stillage which always features a wide variety of ales. If you're really hungry, go somewhere else; but if you fancy a snack with your beer then we are happy to serve you a range of cheeses and pork pies. In case you are wondering, a pottle is an archaic name for a half-gallon container for such a quantity.
